Association for Bilingualism in Cyprus
The Association for Bilingualism in Cyprus is a civil society organization consisting of 22 founding members, all bilingual in Greek and Turkish. Among the founding members are Turkologists, Greek Philologists, Greek teachers, Turkish teachers, translators, and academic linguists working on Greek and Turkish languages.
In addition, many people working in the field of Greek and Turkish, learning Greek and Turkish, and embracing dialogue and the culture of peace between the two communities are members of our association.

Our Mission
The Association for Bilingualism in Cyprus aims to create suitable conditions for the learning of the official languages, Greek and Turkish, by the two communities in Cyprus in order to promote bilingualism.
We work on language policy, bilingual education, translation practice and terminology issues while contributing to the removal of language barriers between the communities.
